GREAT addition to the kitchen!, August 22, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kraus KHF203-36 36-Inch Farmhouse Apron 70/30 Double Bowl 16 gauge Kitchen Sink, Stainless Steel (Tools & Home Improvement) After contemplating several different sinks and sink manufactures of the farmhouse apron style, we decided to suck it up and splurge on the Kraus 36". I must add that the sink came shipped in a wooden protected crate. The sink is absolutely beautiful! We decided to install using the raised instead of the under mount to show of the beauty of the sink's edge. Everyone has admired our sink. Note: You'll need a big faucet with a long vertical reach from the faucet to it's spout. If not you'll be spraying water 3-4" from the back of the sink. The faucet itself has been a kitchen center attraction which has taken the lime light away from it's $1600 range neighbor!! But we're not complaining!

Other reviewers are right that the packaging is amazing! The crate the sink came in is so cool I have to reuse it for something. I am kicking myself that I didn't buy all Kraus products in the remodel.

Over-mounted it 1 1/2 inch proud of the countertop. It's been a conversation piece, since, but, more to the point, it's an incredible sink and a wonderful addition to our kitchen. Kraus is giving it away, at the price.
